Bantry Inshore Search and Rescue Association (BISRA) is a registered charity providing an emergency lifeboat service to the Bantry Bay community.

The association is a declared resource of the Irish Coastguard which regulates BISRA activities and co-ordinates emergency operations, and we work alongside other independent rescue services such as the Irish Coast Guard Cliff & Coastal Rescue Service and the RNLI. We also train and coordinate with the HSE Ambulance Service, County Fire Brigade and An Garda Siochana.
